Mexican Smoke Bush

We found this bush growing beside a track through the Sacramento Mountains on our way to Timberon.  It was so delicately beautiful, it reminded me of feathers.

Pink Carnation

Azalea Blossoms

My mother's azaleas. I always took these flowers for granted when I lived in Florida. Now I really miss them. This image actually won 2nd place at the 2006 Chilifest, other known as the Hudspeth County Fair & Rodeo.
